Brands that hold up on a jar, a door, and a phone.

BEND Creative designs brand identities in Toronto: logos, type, colour and the rules that hold them together. We build each one to work everywhere the brand shows up, from a 30 mL label to a storefront window.

A logo is the start, not the brand.

A brand identity is a set of decisions you can repeat: one mark, one type family, one palette, and the rules for using them.

For REB Clinical Skincare, we built a luxury brand from scratch: a mark that fits on a 30 mL bottle, a label system for the whole range and a Shopify store from the same type, gold and imagery.

For Rabba Fine Foods, we gave a new beer and wine category its own voice inside the Rabba brand: a condensed typeface, one red and a heavy serif ampersand that became the mark for Wine & Beer.

REB: serums, creams, an eye cream and a face oil in one frame. New products slot in.

Down to the typeface.

Rabba Wine & Beer: one condensed face and one ampersand carry the whole category.

How a brand identity project runs.

The proof

Identities in the wild.

Brand identity, answered.

What’s included in a brand identity?

At its core: a logo and its variations, a colour palette, typefaces and the rules for using them together. Most brands also need the first pieces the identity will live on, like packaging, signage, social templates or a website.

What’s the difference between a logo and a brand identity?

A logo is one mark. A brand identity is the whole system around it: colour, type, layout, photography and tone. The system is what makes a label, a sign and a post look like they came from the same brand.

Do you design logos for small businesses?

Yes. The logo wall on this page includes bakeries, clinics, retailers, studios, financial firms and community organizations, alongside our grocery and CPG work.

Can you refresh an existing brand instead of starting over?

Often that’s the smarter move. We keep what people already recognize and fix what isn’t working, like a logo that falls apart at small sizes or a range that has drifted apart.
